There is a monastery, built by Mongolians on the small island of Lake Burd. It is said that Mongoiian genius Danzanravjaa put his famous play saran khukhuu' in this monastery. Swans, ducks and partridge are common on the lake. In the south of the lake, there is spring water which is famous for its curative properties.
